About John
Born in San Bernardino, California, and raised in Dana Point, California, I developed a strong sense of discipline and service early in life. In 2010, I enlisted in the United States Coast Guard, beginning a distinguished military career that spanned 15 years and included assignments across California, Hawaii, Washington, and Virginia. During my time in the Coast Guard I held several critical leadership and instructional roles, earning certifications as a Master Training Specialist, Firearms Instructor, and Command Financial Specialist. These positions reflected a deep commitment to mentorship, operational excellence, and financial responsibility. I concluded my military service in 2025, exiting with the rank of Chief Gunner’s Mate. Following my transition from active duty, I continued to serve the community as an Armed Security Officer in the state of Virginia. while at the same time pursuing a growing passion for financial literacy and education, becoming a licensed loan officer in 2025.
